The practical arrangements
for your advice package.

Who provides the service?

Banet & Partners B.V., a specialist legal consultancy, provides the service under The Immigration Lawyer brand. Our legal information sets out the organisation’s professional status and company and contact details.

What is included?

The package consists of a 60-minute initial consultation, a legal review of the relevant information and supporting documents, and a separate 90-minute concluding consultation to discuss findings and next steps. The review takes place between the two appointments and may take several days. We agree the expected timetable during the initial consultation, depending on the matter and receipt of the necessary information and documents. Once the review is ready, we provide a private link for you to select the second appointment. It is included in the package without an additional fee. Consultations take place by video or in person. The review addresses the relevant Dutch immigration or nationality options, viable alternatives, requirements, evidence, risks and practical considerations. We discuss the findings and next steps, including self-submission where relevant.

The package is available to individuals, families, employers and businesses. It covers one connected Dutch immigration or nationality matter: for example, a personal residence question or an employer’s question about hiring an international employee. A partner or children may be included where their circumstances form part of the same question. For a business matter, we agree which organisation, people and questions the assessment covers. Several separate matters, multiple employee cases or an unusually extensive dossier require agreement on scope before booking.

What is outside the package?

Written advice is not included as standard. Its scope and an additional fee can be agreed during either consultation. Further handling of your matter, application preparation or submission, representation and external costs are excluded. Any further engagement and its fees are agreed separately.

Fee and payment.

For new bookings, the complete package has one fixed total of €750 for private and business clients, including VAT where applicable. No VAT is added to this total at checkout. Where 21% Dutch VAT applies, the service amount is €619.83 and the VAT is €130.17. Where no Dutch VAT is charged, the total remains €750. The applicable treatment is reflected on the invoice; any reverse-charge obligations are governed by the relevant tax rules. Earlier bookings remain subject to the price and terms agreed for them. See the VAT explanation.

The complete €750 package price is due when you book the initial consultation. Appointments are arranged through our online booking service, with payment processed by Stripe. All new clients use the same booking route; no prior VAT check is required to select a price. Business billing details may be provided after booking so that the appropriate invoice can be prepared. After successful payment, the initial appointment is confirmed automatically and the meeting details are sent by email. The concluding consultation is confirmed automatically when you complete its separate booking through the private link provided after the review. It does not require a second package payment.

Changes and cancellation.

You may request a different appointment time, subject to availability, or cancel your appointment. The package fee remains payable and is not refunded for a change, cancellation or non-attendance, except where mandatory consumer rights require otherwise.

Use the reschedule or cancellation link in your confirmation email. A new time depends on availability. If no suitable time is available, the link cannot be used or the appointment has already passed, email info@theimmigrationlawyer.nl or call +31 20 782 10 10. Please include your name and appointment details.

Statutory consumer withdrawal.

If you are a consumer and conclude a service agreement at a distance, a statutory 14-day withdrawal period may apply from the date the agreement is concluded. To exercise that right, send us a clear statement by email or post that you wish to withdraw, with your name and the agreement or appointment concerned.

If you expressly request that work begins within that period, a proportionate charge for services already provided may apply. The right can end once the service has been fully performed only where the legally required express consent and acknowledgement have been obtained. Our cancellation policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights.

Information and timing.

Please provide relevant, accurate information and tell us about any deadline when arranging your consultation. Booking the advice package does not include an instruction to submit an application, take procedural action or protect a deadline. Any such work must be agreed separately. Findings depend on the facts and law considered; no particular outcome is guaranteed.
